Steamroller is just weird. It'd make sense for Whirlipede and Golem, and I can still see it working for Venipede...

But how does a Scolipede turn into a ball, or whatever this is?

@Djoing: Every single Pokemon can shapeshift into red energy to fit inside Pokeballs, I think Scolipede can roll into a ball considering the many segments of that body.

@Alienoid: I think that's more the Pokéball's work than the Pokémon's.

Jirachi is suddenly a flying type.

Reply MarioKong, December 21st, 2014, 1:01 pm

Hopefully, Jirachi can come down at some point.

Reply Napo, Unlaunched Cannon, December 21st, 2014, 1:08 pm

By the way, don't forget about Jirachi's Ability, Serene Grace, which doubles the chances of secondary effects of attacks.

@Napo, Unlaunched Cannon:
Oh, forgot to check that. Good to know.

I should really pay atention to these knds of things.

@Djoing:
Something else relatively easy to forget is that Jirachi is weak to Dark and Ghost this gen. Just in case you forget

Reply Blue Kirby the l33t, December 21st, 2014, 9:42 pm

@Djoing: Something else easy to forget is Jirachi can actually get a Steel Type move besides Doom Desire. You can teach it Flash Cannon by TM.

...that's actually not that easy to forget I just wanted to be involved.

@Blue Kirby the l33t:
Which is why I specifically added "not counting tm's" to my author comment two pages ago.

And this is why it's silly that a bunch of floating pokémon get the ability levitate.... And a lot of floating pokémon don't.

@Djoing: scolipede is reminding me of a bigger uncurled whirlipede so you can see a curled up scolipede during steamroller or rollout

Reply Shadow_Da_Hedgie, December 22nd, 2014, 11:15 am

@Djoing: I imagine it rolls up into a ball, a fairly large one, considering it's size, and then just does it the way a Whirlipede would do.

If you think that's odd, get this: Kadabra can learn Iron Tail. Thus, Alakazam can learn Iron Tail. Despite losing it's tail upon evolution.

@Shadow_Da_Hedgie:
A similar example I adore is that Dusclops gets Mega Kick in a FRLG move tutor. Transfer it up, evolve it into Dusknoir, hilarity ensues.

Reply Shadow_Da_Hedgie, December 22nd, 2014, 5:43 pm

@Kurona: And then there is also the thing with Doduo and Dodrio learning Fly without wings. Although I saw a comic where a Doduo flew using it's heads like helicopter propellers.

Golurk can also learn fly, but it IS a robot... Sort of. Man-made automaton, at least.

Reply Kurona, December 22nd, 2014, 7:24 pm

@Shadow_Da_Hedgie:
Yeah but we ignore that because Golurk using Fly is just fucking awesome

Reply Shadow_Da_Hedgie, December 22nd, 2014, 7:31 pm

@Kurona: Golurk is Iron Man. Except Rock. But there is already a Rock Man and a Stone Man. There is also an Iron Man though. FUCK I RUINED MY OWN JOKE.

Reply Kurona, December 22nd, 2014, 7:53 pm

@Shadow_Da_Hedgie:
Golurk isn't rock-type

Reply Shadow_Da_Hedgie, December 22nd, 2014, 8:00 pm

@Kurona: uh... ... I knew that. >.>
